A Nigerian lady who worked as a housemaid in Libya, Rashida Aybola, has been arrested by the police for allegedly stealing her employer's money running into 68,540 thousand dinars, (about N1.5 million), as well as gold jewelries including necklaces and chains.

Tajoura Combating Crimes Office reports that Aybola was arrested
following a complain lodged by her employers that she stole the items
from a house she worked as a domestic help in the Abu Salim district,
Tripoli, the capital of Libya.
The crime office added that Aybola had planned her robberybefore
hand and had allegedly added a sleeping pill the the drink she served
her mistress which made her unconscious so that she could get away with
the money and gold, which she put in a suitcase and then escaped.
